Destiny

Destiny

Hi @tyme ,

I would like to know more about destiny. I hadn’t really been in tune with my feelings, but when you mentioned about destiny things became came clear in my mind and my focus on the positive improved a lot. The one thing I wanted to ask was what if the destiny I am focussed on isn’t the same for her and she has other ideas. Were we really on the same page? I thought so, but then thought we weren’t. Is it ok to put all my heart into an outcome that I don’t know would be the same for her?

Oh noooooo @Rockdog ! I'm so so so sorry to hear! I know how much your daughter relied on Paris. Hope you are holding up. It sounds so hard for you all.

Thinking of you.

Re: Destiny

Thanks @tyme ,

it has been so hard. I really miss her and my daughter is shattered. Just pushing on though. It is really hard but just remembering the nice times. It does teach you to appreciate the nice things in life. When I had Paris with me she was an awesome comfort but I was so lost in my own world I didn’t fully appreciate how lucky I was. Now I can appreciate how special she was.

Re: Destiny

Totally true. And I remember that Paris was for your daughter's anxiety. She must be heart broken. Would she consider getting another dog? @Rockdog

What have you been up to anyway?

Have missed our chats.

Re: Destiny

Not sure @tyme if she will get another one. She just wants Paris so it it pretty hard at the moment. She is heart broken.

Re: Destiny

It's natural to be grieving @Rockdog . Grief comes with any loss. Yet through your own experiences, it doesn't mean she cannot regain that love and care for another one.

You would know only too well what it is like to have your whole heart for your beloved one. And Paris is her dear one.

Hugs to everyone.

Hi @tyme,

you are so right. It does work like that but you will always have that love in your heart. It is just so hard to deal with. There will never be another Paris just like there will never be another Ruby. I guess life is dealing with love and loss.

Re: Destiny

Yes. I've had other dogs in my life. I've had Allie, and Zac. I loved them both dearly and I still do. But it doesn't mean I can't love Ruby either.

Give your daughter time.

I'm just so so proud of you @Rockdog . Every time I think of your progress, it makes me smile (even if it doesn't feel like progress to you, I know it is!).

Keep being you. You have such a big, open and honest heart. You deserve THE BEST 🙂 @Rockdog

Hi @tyme,

I hope you are well. Sorry, I have been meaning to message for a while and see how you are going. I am going ok. Things are not to bad but still a struggle at times. Take care

Hellllooooo @Rockdog ! I've been wondering where you've been!

Are you studying? Working?

How's your daughter?

It's always nice to hear from you.

You are such a kind-hearted soul. You deserve the best.

Hi @tyme,

Always nice to hear from you. I have finished study and graduated. I am about to be admitted as a lawyer on the 15th and am going to start a new job so a bit has happened. My daughter is still pretty bad over Paris but is working hard. How have you been? Sorry I hadn’t been on for a bit. You will always be a part of my life. You are a kind soul as well. Thank you for your kindness.
