I feel that everything that happens is to teach us something - good or bad. I think having this mindset is what helps use get through, especially when things are tough.

I think this aligns with the Radical Acceptance theory.

Keep doing what you are doing. You have come such a long way.

How's your work going? Are you still doing that volunteer role?

Hope your Easter is going well. I am trying to progress but my latest lesson was a tough one. I was like a really bad dream. I’m not sure what radical acceptance theory is, but I have a lot of trouble accepting things. Not sure if I mentioned but my placement finished. That gas left me with a lack of purpose.

That is cool. Hope you are enjoying leave. I’m not sure about where to go. I have one unit left to be officially admitted as a lawyer. While I was doing placement I thought it was my career, but now I am finished maybe it isn’t. I am feeling a bit lost, and destiny seems to be slipping by so pretty lost. Have a good holiday, hopefully talk soon 😊

hugs to you. I am no recovery icon. I am having trouble seeing how it will work out. I do think if if was going to happen it would have by now. Wouldn’t she have made an attempt by now if it was to be? Will wait hoping forever, but I am thinking things probably won’t work and she didn’t feel the same way.
