Destiny

Destiny

Hi @tyme ,

I would like to know more about destiny. I hadn’t really been in tune with my feelings, but when you mentioned about destiny things became came clear in my mind and my focus on the positive improved a lot. The one thing I wanted to ask was what if the destiny I am focussed on isn’t the same for her and she has other ideas. Were we really on the same page? I thought so, but then thought we weren’t. Is it ok to put all my heart into an outcome that I don’t know would be the same for her?

Re: Destiny

Hey @tyme ,

that is no good. It is pretty cold here as well. How are you going. It is nice to talk to you, I’m feeling a bit flat today. I’m a bit mad at myself because I have dropped off a bit. You don’t think 3 years will matter in the big picture?

Re: Destiny

Do you remember those days when you see kids who might be 10 years different in age with their sibling? You often think, Geez! What a big gap!

But when they are adults, no one even notices the 10 year gap anymore.

I think this is similar. 3 years FEELS like a long time, but in the long run, it's nothing. @Rockdog

Awwww,

thanks @tyme ,

but it is 3 years and still counting. I ran into her and nothing happened. Was that it? Time might just slip away but you are right, in the big picture. But I will be in a retirement home by then lol hope you are well. 😊

Hi @rav3n ,

thank you 😊

I hope you are going well, I’m a bit tired from first day. Hopefully week goes ok.

How was your Monday ?

Re: Destiny

So fair @Rockdog hope you get some good rest tonight! How's your new job going?

My Monday's been good, also feeling a bit tired (my sleep schedule's a mess, working on fixing it hehe)

Re: Destiny

Yeah @rav3n ,

sleep schedules are hard. New job is ok but pretty tiring. It isn’t a long day but is really stressful driving around and dealing with supermarket managers. In general ok though. How about you, what have you been up to?

Re: Destiny

ohh yep, I can imagine the moving around from place to place would be exhausting! @Rockdog do you have a de-stress activity for after work that helps?

i've got a list of things to get done like applications for further studies, doing my taxes, etc and they all seem to keep piling up 😅 trying to get them done but i've been procrastinating a bit!

Re: Destiny

Hi @rav3n,

yeah I do that as well and they just build up. What are you studying? Are you doing counselling? No I don’t have a healthy de stress method.

Re: Destiny

I'm not studying at the moment, took some time off to work and fix up my routines (was burnt out from uni) but i plan on maybe doing a masters in psych either this year or next year. i'm considering counselling too, still debating between the two, might apply for both!

how about you? have you done /looking to study soon?

@Rockdog for me, i hit the gym after work and then take nice shower, and watch a bit of Netflix as my de-stress routine. i think a few of my friends take a nap to 'destress' or eat some dessert/snacks, go for a run/walk, etc. i reckon having something to look forward to after work to 'destress' gives good motivation sometimes too? is there an activity you can see yourself trying after work to unwind?
