Welcome and getting started

Family goals

Family goals

Hi. I've recently started a recovery process from addiction, so you could say I am on my own personalised journey. Over the years and as I said I'm in early stages of recovery and also been diagnosed with several illnesses and disabilities. Over the years I've pushed people away from me and never sought out the help I needed until now. Might I add the people I've hurt. Including my family, I'm in the process of repairing these relationships. And I'm going to start seeing a family counsellor with my mother which I think is really good. I want my mother to understand that she has been and will be living with someone with these difficulties, can I get some support around this and get an idea about what this will now look like from hear on out. I'm scared and fearful of the future but I continue to grow and work on these challenges I face now and what I've faced in the past.
