No Need to Always Go 100%
Take it from me, once you’re in the sauce of doing a task very thoroughly, you will find it hard to get out. Why? Because you’ll probably feel stressed and unsatisfied if you don’t quite get it right. You just can’t do something 100%, and if you can, you don’t have to reach 100% all in one sitting. You can do a half of your task now, then when you feel stuck and unsatisfied where you’re at, that’s when you stop. I know you’re stopping at a point where you feel down and trust me, I hate that feeling as a perfectionist where you know something is not where it needs to be and it might feel like you wasted your energy by stopping now, but it’s best to stop since the closer you get to 100%, the more you want to complete the task fully. I get these feelings in gaming as well, let’s say league of legends ranked; the closer you get to your desired rank, the more you’re gonna play, even at the cost of your own physical and mental health. Then 1 more game till ranking up, and you lose, you’re gonna feel like crap, but since you’re still close to your desired rank, you just want to finish the grind and you wind up losing 4 games and going down a division. It’s not worth it, it’s better to end on a loss than to end with regret.
