Hi @gdj. Welcome to the forum. Im sure there should be some reason which made your mind to change. First calm your mind . and find out what make you upset. What made you to be depress? Anything bothering in mind?

Hi @gdj

Welcome to the forum, there are a lot of experienced members on the forum who care. I can relate to what you are going through, this used to happen to me every time I was bored and my mind would wander, once you knew it my thoughts would take over! I would feel depressed for a few days and alright for a few days, it was on and off. I started engaging in different activities, and hobbies and constantly kept busy, I began to feel better.

Have you expressed your concerns to your Doctor?

Be kind to yourself, take care.

Re: i’m new on here

@gdj Hi 👋🏼 ADHD symptoms are exacerbated by hormone fluctuations 💯 I have raised 2 daughters with ADHD. They are now in their 30s.

Your description sounds very familiar to me.

I’ll quote my daughter, discussing her cycle: “so out of 4 weeks in a month, I have 1 week that I ok.”

Have you spoken with your doctor and specialist?

Re: i’m new on here

@ArraDreaming I was diagnosed with ADHD 20 years ago. Best thing that ever happened to me was getting medication.

I would not have held down a job without it.

Yeah, I wish I didn’t say it like that yesterday @Glisten
What I meant was its not a very nice thing to live with and people have been trivialising it a lot and wanting the label even though its actually not something cool is what I meant
