I keep falling

I keep falling

I have been suffering depression and anxiety my whole life. today is my birthday and everything has come to a head. I feel stuck in my own life. I used to be able to talk about stuff now I just hold everything in. I started hurting myself again by scratching my legs until they bleed. just want the pain to stop

Re: I keep falling

here is my story ill try to keep it short. saw my mother experience domestic violence from my father. was constantly being bullied through primary school ..ignored through high school few bad relationships. now since becoming a mother 13 months ago to a beautiful boy it has brought all these things out from beneath the surface. I have seen counselers, youth workers, social workers,
psychiatrists psychologists and doctors since I was 5. been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, major depression. manic depressive . ptsd. adhd. anxiety with panic attacks. I have been medicated half my life. now in my early 30s with a one year old my mental state has taken a back seat to my son. it can be a very lonely world sometimes. I am usually a very articulate person. its extremely unnatural for me to hold everything in. I feel like I need to do it to protect my family. my current partner cheated on me twice by having inappropriate conversations with other women . ever since than I have never been the same. I love him and want to make me family work. everyone makes mistakes. god knows ive made many. it breaks my heart wen we argue in front of my son. im terrified of having a relationship like my parents

Tough times and vulnerable times. You have a few triggers going on.Recommend you find someone to talk to as you need the support.I know you are probably tired of this after a long time of this from someone who feels the same. However you sound isolated like all of us, especially with your child. You are trying g to protect your family, and the pressure of that is obviously too much.Things may have to change because you can't live like that if it's not healthy. If not for you,for your child. You say your partner had inappropriate conversations? Is it possible for you both to see a counselor to gain a better insight or perspective of this?Find someone to talk to ,you can't go on like this ,you aren't protecting the family if you don't.
