Are the forums slow for you too?

Codesigners: help me out please!

What device and browser are you using to access the forums?

Personally, I pretty much cannot use the forums from my iPhone.

It’s so, so incredibly slow.

Is it slow for everyone on a mobile device?

It’s so slow for me on Safari on iPhone that I wonder how anyone uses it at all.

Are you all just extremely patient?

Our Tech Team are looking into speed issues and we’d really like to know what devices and browsers you are using, what speed issues you encounter and any detail you can share about speed issues you encounter - when they occur and any specifics would be really helpful.

I access the forums mostly from my iPhone using safari and it can be rather slow at times, especially waiting for a post to post- that’s incredibly slloooooowwwwww!

I use an iphone (safari) or ipad pro (safari) and it's incredibly slow.

However, on the Macbook pro, it's okay.

I'm starting to think it can be an internet issue too because it's always slower in the evening. I then try by three different networks to see which is best. And SOMETIMES, that helps

@tyme @RachSANECEO I'm on a desktop computer running Firefox. Internet's through NBN. It isn't slow for me at the moment, although sometimes I notice that it does seem pretty slow. Although most websites seem to go through a bit of that from time-to-time.

One pretty common issue I strike is that sometimes I click on the support button for a post, but the click doesn't seem to register (i.e. the support count doesn't go up). So I click the button again, but I get the impression that that "unsupports" the post I just supported.

These days, whenever I have a support that doesn't register, I try to remember to refresh the page before trying the button again. Usually, doing so reveals that the forums has indeed registered my support.

I get frustrated with it a lot of the time.. so if I get frustrated, I can imagine how frustrating it is for others 🙂

yes very slow when liking a post and when posting

@RachSANECEO @tyme I only use safari on my iPad. Replying, posting and supporting on the forums is either quite slow or no problems. I have not tried on my phone or laptop as yet

@RachSANECEO I have to use my laptop to upload photos and if I spend some time on the forum

through the day , and other times I use my mobile phone but I can not upload using my phone
