What is country?
I had a conversation with someone recently about going out on country, and that person commented/asked what that means.
for those who can’t access the lands of our ancestors like maybe it’s too far, we still form connections to country in our local area.
When I say I like to go out on country, I mean explore a place of cultural significance to me, locally, but in spirit I am in both places and acknowledging the lands I walk on.
