Your experiences with Anhedonia?

Your experiences with Anhedonia?

Hey guys, for people who experience anhedonia and dont mind sharing your experience, please share it with me. I want to write a song based off it but not just only from my experiences, if that makes sense. Nothing personal will be shown so dont worry- just want to get experience from more than just my own.

It's kinda to cope not gonna lie- it's very unlikely to be shared anytime soon- and i'll probably put a disclaimer so people don't get any misconceptions or anything but like- yeah-

Fair enough @Former-Member .

I have a psych degree too, but after I finished it, I realised I didn't want to pursue being a psychologist as it was too clinical for me.

Hence I went into youth work too.

And now I'm more than happy as a peer worker.

I love my job. I don't think I could continue in a job that wasn't very interesting.

Yeah I'm definitely feeling a bit stuck in that regard. On the one hand, doing work you don't like isn't good for your mental health, but my previous work (youth work) isn't particularly good for my mental health either.
Yet anytime I apply for a different role where my degree is relevant or previous skills seem transferrable, all I hear is crickets..

It gets a little bit soul-crushing after a while
