Had melt-down moods from WH with his mi issues last few years @Shaz51 ..... I went onto minimal response polite behaviour and it made him feel like an #ss ..... politeness can keep you functioning and you can turn the warmth in and off along with it according to behaviours you want to encourage or discourage - like raising children .....

Yep I'm always one to try on that front @TAB....agghh sometimes it is a lost cause. I try be polite, but remain myself. I think therapy has taught me I've a lot of 'stuff' from childhood. But who knows maybe that's all clique too...I think honestly what works for me may not be for others. But on same breath respect should follow all round. 😊

@Former-Member. Yes I also find my family rather conservative - especially my son. Very frustrating when you want to explore a topic & they just don't get it.

Lol @Former-Member .. got work medical this morn well dont get any work from them, just get told to do stuff hah .. well updating medical may change that. Still with all the crap in system from hosp visit Wednesday maybe no haha not feeling very healthy. Got bad ear infection grr hope no hearing test lol . How is your Friday 13th going lol
