Doing ok today @Shaz51 and hope you are too. So good to be back on the forums since last night. It really lifts my mood and makes me feel less alone.

went to the kidney specialist today , the kidney is stable at 24 % which is good , but he is not happy with all the infections, colds, flus,aches and pains and all the AB i have taken this year already , so I will be taking 5 meds a day now which is ok

i asked him about the kidney Dialsis machine , and he said no not yet -- i need to be taking 14 meds a day before they will think of the machine

so he is happy to see me in 6 months unless something happens , but to keep in contact with my GPs , Dietician and the kidney Nurse

So you are pretty sick with infections etc - and you are falling short on the amount of medication you are taking - and the medication would be making it harder for your kidney

Wow - and then there's dialysis - not a fun idea

Would you be up for transplant surgery in the future - I guess you would have to be in a very bad way before that would be available
