how exciting re toddler bed @Former-Member - not o sure that its going to stop the sleeping with you though lol! my mr 5 still wakes up twice every night and sleeps with me at least half the time. but its ok as when he does sleep he's like a log (aside from having whole conversations while asleep!) miss 8 likes to sleep with me sometimes still, but she is a massive wriggler and mover so i don't get any sleep at all.

Just a cat and she's blind, so no walkies with her. 😂🐱 She's getting old and lazy. 😴🐱
Eating and sleeping is what she does. 😀
I walk with my daughter when it's not hot, but it's been way too hot here lately. Air con on all day.
Hubby is dropping daughter and friend off at shops and beach.
A different place further away.
Hard letting her go, but she's at the age where she needs a bit of independence.
I let her go off on new years. 😮😨
I was around, but couldn't see her.
She's sensible, so that's good.
I've always told her, if she meets guys, always stay in a public place. 😊

Do you have "Grill'd" burger place down there? We were having them a bit too often. Yummy though.
Been eating out a bit much. Makes my healthy meals seem more yummy.
I remember saying "walkies" to a dog we had. He would go "nuts", racing around, so excited. He'd find his lead and race around with it in his mouth, lol. 🐕
Good to get the washing etc done @TAB
I've done a couple of loads, more there to do.
Sheet washing etc. Trying to clean and tidy.
I'm a bit OCD, which doesn't help, when I don't have much energy. 😮

glad you have a sensible daugther.. it must be hard to loosen the strings that keeps them safe... and trust that they're able to keep themselves safe.

I find it hard to remember everyone's story on here 😊
Yes, bit tricky letting go. I'm super careful because of my past, but then again I can't stop her from living (sensibly 😀).
We are very open and honest. It shocks me to here what goes on in life with teenagers. She doesn't want to follow the crowd though. 😊
Makes it hard when her friends are wanting to be a bit "wild " and she wants to have sensible fun

you've done well to raise such a thougtful and strong kid to be able to run her own path... not follow the crowd.

I don't have children/kittens lol .. did see all of sisters and younger brothers over the last week. 10yo princess was the stand out😀 Anyway they couldn't wish for anything better the way they have turned out. Well sisters 25 and 23 so they are more 'set' others 10 14 15 think. All healthy bright happy smart, dare I say it attractive

I spend alot of time with her talking etc. I guess that's what has helped her.
It's not easy being a teenager and standing up and saying no to alcohol etc....
She has a "ball" without it, dancing away etc at beach on new year.
So many teenagers were drunk or high.
That's where she's gone today, but the party is over. Hope she enjoys herself anyway. Lots of tourists here for the holidays.

It's a good feeling and a huge relief seeing your kids do well at school and go on the "right track ". Mine is determined not to follow, but that can get lonely.
I think it will be easier at uni where they're older and hopefully more mature (some will be anyway).
