I ate my block of white chocolate a couple of days ago! That headache is done and dusted 🙂

And considering the center of my Universe is having visitors with even more children, a big noisy bar-b-que and an inevitable even louder party well into the evening - . . . I'm kinda glad I'm home 🙂

I worry about the World too @Dothemo. I was actually unaware of the situation in Russia, I too worry about North Korea's ties with Russian and China. All the more reason to appreciate that today, in my little bubble at least, it's peaceful. I can hear the finches and wrens, a single truck making it's way to NSW far off on the highway, my solar snake chaser buzzing regularly in the front yard.

The World is a huge place, and as such it has huge problems. I deal with what I can, and quite naturally, I fear what I can not. Sometimes I think the hardest thing to do is to accept that little bit of peace that surrounds your private bubble.

@Former-Member, there won't be much chocolate for me today or any other day because I only eat it in tiny proportions. I enjoy it but just find it too rich if I eat much more. So looks like there's more virtual eggs for everyone else. Glad you escaped the height of the easter turmoil with the centre of your universe and are instead enjoying the comforts, sights and sounds of home.

@Dothemo, yes, I too worry about this situation between the US and North Korea. I grew into adulthood being afraid of nuclear war in the 80s. I've worried about the world a lot since my teens. But, like @Former-Member, I now recognise that at least some of these issues are way beyond my control. So these days I focus more on the small world that is around me where I can have some effect. It is a nerve wracking time with the leaders we have in the world. I can't expose myself too much to the news or my mood goes down. Hugs for how you are feeling.

@Spookytookims, thanks for the easter bags with the little eggs. That's one of my real life easter gifts, a bag of little caramel eggs. Just about the right amount of chocolate to last me all week (if my companion doesn't get into them before then).

Sending good cheer to all this day that is for me about rebirth and renewal.

I brought along this thinking it would be a nice way to start for both the chocolate and non-chocolate people (or the chocolate people who may already be all chocolated out). Sending hugs to all who find days like today tricky or tough, and best wishes to everyone for a day with something good in it.

Early start here but it was super nice. I can smell hot cross buns and that's one of my favourite smells 🙂
