Cyclonic winds decided to cut our electricity off last night. Still no electricity and probably won't get fixed until tomorrow night. 😮😣😨 Oh my gosh!
Charging my phone at the library. No wifi at home for a while. 😣
Shopping for candles etc.
Bye bye food in the fridge, oh well. 😮

Hi @Former-Member, hope you are safe and have enough cupboard supplies to get you through until tomorrow night. We've had massive rainfall here too over past 36 hours, high wind and local flooding. Roads cut off. Still have electricity though. Seems like quite a few of us on the forum have been feeling the same weather system.
With regards to your concern for the message, is the power being cut off that has you concerned. Or was there another post in this thread that has now been removed?

Do you have a bbq or campstove? Had campstove out when similar happened at brothers in nsw power was only off for few hrs then tho @Former-Member you'll be ok

If you can cover your fridge, top front and sides, with thick blankets it can help to insulate your cold produce inside, especially if you can add a bag or two of ice from the servo .....

Mazarita I'm feeling extra stressed, I think because I didn't sleep well last night. Hadn't eaten much and just felt stressed re no power. I get really achey and nauseous on top of it all.
Anyway, enough whinging.
Feeling really teary.
Lots on my mind lately. 😮
Just wasn't organized for it all. Not in the best mood for shopping etc.

@Former-Member, hanging and chatting on the forum to keep you company and sleeping might be two good tools to help you get through the time. Hugs for your teary feelings. Let 'em fall, I say. I often feel a bit better after a little cry (long ones not so much). Do you think you will do some shopping? Or maybe you have enough food in the cupboards to get you through? Sounds like water supply is okay so that's good.

Must make a cuppa now.
Such a relief. Energex said on internet that power would be off until tomorrow evening.
Seems such a minor thing to be upset about when people overseas have nothing.
Lack of sleep makes everything seem worse.
