Hi @Bella2, how you coping with this heat? 42 up here in the hills yesterday, 38 in my veranda now. Don't have aircon here. I hear people say going for a swim on the beach helps but don't think the hot sand and sun getting there would be good. Sorry I haven't been connecting well lately, seem to have chased everyone away, anyway, saw you pop up, wanted to say hi, hope today is better than yesterday for you, hugz xox

@Former-Member I was just thinking of ways for you to try and keep cool in this heat.
Have you tried putting a damp tea towel/hand towel in freezer, then putting it on the back of your neck?
Or when sitting, put your feet in a big bowl/bucket of water with ice in it?

Thanks @Former-Member, haven't tried coolinh down wet teatowel yet, always scared of that cold shock lol The bowl of cold water works but gotta keep dropping ice in as it quickly goes tepid or higher. Fans, wet washers, drinks & rest are working, kinda xox What are you up to today?

Just at home again @Former-Member Washing and made a huge Sheperd's Pie with heaps of vegies in it. I've been so incredibly hungry lately, because there's alot that I can't eat, due to IBS. So now I'll have something to eat for a couple of days. 
I hope that you are ok, "family stuff" is hard to cope with, I know.
I'm heading off in the shower now, have to go to the chemist.
