Well going to the shop can be exciting o/s @Faith-and-Hope. Just finished hour long walk including play on gym stuff at park lol

Triggers wherever I go. 😯😮😣😨
Realizing more how triggers are causing such anxiety every day, wherever I go.
It's exhausting and I get pain from being so tense.
EVERY time I go shopping there's a song that was played during a traumatic time in my life. Tears well up and I have to try and keep control of my emotions while shopping. Or I'll see or hear about someone that will trigger me. 😩😨😢
I only feel a little relaxed when I have a sleep med, now I have to sleep. 😴
I heard tonight that Complex PTSD can be managed, but wow! It's not bl#### easy.
Feeling like it's a life sentence.

@Former-Member. Yes these triggers are very hard to kerp dealing with.
Although it sounds like this song - this trigger- could be treated by desensitisation. With the help of a ppsychologist experienced in this field. Just imagine how much easier it would be to go shopping or anywhere & to not react when that song is played. It really can be done.
Have you asked your treating therapist about this before? Maybe mention it to them this week.
I hope you manage to get a restful sleep tonight.

I am bit worried about you re exercise lol. I did one hour today too but I have missed about two to three wks of exercise so I did feel it today plus it was so hot here today. Keep up the good work 😛
