Something’s not right

Stuck and can’t escape it.

Stuck and can’t escape it.

Hey,

things are hard and I just can’t seem to escape it, I went to the emergency room last night hoping to get the help I needed from mental health clinicians but they basically sent me on my way, I had SH which was why I went and they still discharged me, I ended up calling them crying for help and they told me to go home and try my coping skills, barely even made it home without having a massive crying episode and having to take myself back for them to just tell me I’m fine and discharge me again.

I feel like I’m just a burden and mistake, it feels all to overwhelming, they are supposed to be there to support you not just send you on your way when your basically in crisis.

the nurse I got when I came back was really rude to me she was a mental health person and basically told me to go home and try my coping skills.[edited by moderator] I was upset and really not feeling great mentally.

im just stuck on what to do, I feel like I just can’t escape it…..

am safe

Hey @creative_writer - being physically unwell with a heart condition is scary. Also passing out aswell, I’m in the best place possible.

That sounds very concerning @Fluttershy1 ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Losing consciousness from heart problems is serious and I really hope they are actively supporting you with medical care 🌺💜

I’m sitting with you, and wishing you well 💜💜

Thanks @Former-Member - it’s scary and a horrible feeling, I hate having medical issues

Re: Stuck and can’t escape it.

@Fluttershy1, cardiovascular related illnesses can be very scary and can affect daily functioning. I also struggle with physical health issues too, but what you are describing is a whole different level. I can’t begin to understand what you go through. I do know physical illness can affect mental health, and vice versa. It’s super rough

Re: Stuck and can’t escape it.

@creative_writer - yeah, it’s so hard for people to understand chronic illnesses and there is so much stigma around it.

Yes, it’s really frightening when the body doesn’t work properly 😔❤️‍🩹💜

I do understand some of how that feels, as I have a heart condition and sometimes it’s a yuck, scary feeling 💜💜

Re: Stuck and can’t escape it.

@Fluttershy1, it is. It’s not as simple as eating better, reducing stress (which I struggle with), exercising enough. We are not in control of our physical health. I feel like when I say I am a migraine sufferer some people think it’s just a bad headache but it has a number of symptoms. I don’t faint thankfully, but on a number of occasions I can get very lightheaded and feel unstable
