Just a quick sound of my hands clapping for you @justanother47yr, Anne that is marvellous that you have gotten through a court proceeding with such verve and compassion still for your ex..
Sometimes a bit of self medication is a very ordinary response, common to many of us..The old mary-jane (choof) can be very relaxing for some people..me.I can't hack the weed at all.hydroponics has changed its strength and I cannot touch it...too much of a trigger to take up smoking again..
Anyhoo..waving at you, just glad to see you have had a good outcome:)

Anne here....thank you, I am so so overwhelmed today.....funny but you all get me through this morning. I thought of going home and writing up to you.
I went to court to support a middle aged lady who is there to see her 23 year old son go through court,
I spent one and half hours there then left. I had another appiontment then sent her a text and wrote rain check, I'm going home now.
I never act like this, saying I've got to leave ......but taking care of my being a lot better.
I hate pot, I cannot believe that I smoked it because I felt Doo lally for about three days after.
how are the kids?

Well I reckon sound of clapping again..it's wonderful that you are taking good care of YOU! Kids are great, spent most of the day in the city..I love the city life...sitting on the swing chair in backyard, listening to wind through the trees, birds chattering away, pigeons and lorikeet's I can see ..dog indoors chilling in lounge, me I actually have my feet up...lovely afternoon sunshine...

I forgot to write about the VRO. My ex partner, got the VRO on him, I felt over overwhelmed, I asked for a legal aid lawyer and he turned up. He just dealt h with it, I only had to stand up and say yes at some stage and it was over. Oh, the choises that some people make.
I've been sleeping a lot and working out what my choises are. It's to focus on my craftwork and do a little work/volunteer work for the community.

Thanks for asking. I am struggling, although quite a lot better today than yesterday thankfully. Should be in bed though. Still having trouble going to bed/sleeping.
