I'm doing alright today - it's waayyyy too hot today, so I am hibernating at home currently with a iced decaf (my last icecube.. so it isn't that iced lol) and getting through the day.
How are you going today?

Re: Does anyone want to talk
for reference my kid I’m doing the puzzles with is almost 3 so that probably paints a picture of the type of puzzles we have been doing 😂@PizzaMondo nothing that challenges the mind too much

Re: Does anyone want to talk
That sounds like an awesome idea - wish I lived close to the beach, would love to go for a daily dip - the ocean is so refreshing!
Also, sounds like a really special morning to have a little treat at the local shops today @ArraDreaming🙂 I am very aware and no stranger either to monies being tight.. that's exactly why I try to imitate my local cafe's coffee at home and make it 😛 always a treat when I can go out for one though, so I get ya!
Good that you're all staying cool today until you can go for a dip, I'm curious what picture is on the puzzle?!

Re: Does anyone want to talk
I read a really interesting thing other day about kids and playing games and how young ones will keep dragging their parents around to play different activities, and its because it’s you, your the toy, the game is that are getting you to play all the activities Which explains why we moved from playing Hammerbarn to blocks to cars to hammer barn to trampoline and I had to be involved in all of it @PizzaMondo hahaha

Re: Does anyone want to talk
I am imagining the puzzle pieces are quite big then if you're making them with your almost 3 year old 😛
Do you ever make some puzzles that are a bit more challenging?! By yourself perhaps? @ArraDreaming

Re: Does anyone want to talk
Oh yeah like the 9 peice ones 🤣 really not that challenging on the mind @PizzaMondo you know the ones Nah I don’t have the patience for adult sized puzzles no way I would do 3 peices then move on and forget about it for 6 months

Re: Does anyone want to talk
Haha, yep I know the ones you're talking about @ArraDreaming😛
Does your child want to keep redoing the same one after it's complete? Reminds me of playing with the kids at my old job and they just wanted to keep repeating the same puzzle, I felt I could do it with my eyes closed at one point!!
Omg, same, during COVID I started a 1000 piece Simpsons puzzle.. think it took 3 months.. just sat there on the table and somehow I had missing pieces in the end still!

Hey, dad is most definitely allowed to tap out for a rest! Brain's working hard on those puzzles 😛
