Yeah @ArraDreaming I reckon, I've heard it from friends, I've seen memes and stuff about it - inflation is at an all time high, everyone needs money to survive, it makes sense that the job market is in a rough state right now.
Might just be a numbers game you know? Apply for as many jobs as you possibly can, even jobs you don't think you could get or that you don't think you qualify for. Heck, when I applied to sane I applied for the position advertised (a supervisor-type role) thinking I'd never hear from them, it was purely to hit the quota for my Centrelink payment. Then they called me up like "We don't want you for the supervisor role but liked your application so thought we'd get you in for an interview anyway." And here I still am four and a half years later!
Keep at it bud, I know how demoralising it can be but you'll find something in the end 🤞
