Yes, way too much stress in schools. Way too much stress on kids, teenagers altogether. I really feel for them. I think school should finish at 3pm and NO homework on weeknights or weekends. They need time to have fun and socialize. @Former-Member
Way too much pressure on teachers too. My friend was a teacher and she would share with me all the pressures that are put on teachers. Too much paperwork, not leaving enought time to spend actually helping the students.
My friend finally decided to give up teaching this year, then found out that she had cancer and passed away. I still can't believe that she has gone.

Are you any good with handyman work in the house @TAB?
Meaning with putting curtain rods up and curtains? Not everyone is a handyman, just wondering if that is something that you can do eventually, when you feel up to it. No rush though, if you have sheets, I guess, lol. Hey, it's better than nothing. Try not to worry about it all, I'm sure that you'll get it all sorted eventually. You have a place to sleep etc., so that's the main thing sorted. It's a big step, moving. That's a stress in itself.

Hi @Former-Member
Yes i am so exhausted re the teaching. The pressure is intense and its getting harder and harder.. i often think its just me.
I have been not so ok.. i think too. I feel as though everything has finally flipped me over the edge. im not feeling anything at all at the moment. I half think that its good, its a relief sort of. but at the same time it seems bad and i think its leading me down the wrong path.. not sure though. really just focussing on surviving the last 5 days of school.
Did you like teaching/working with kids?
@TAB Well done on getting the sheets up. hope you are ok ok. I agree moving sucks! I have not lived in a house more than a year at atime for the last 12 years.. i should be good at moving by now haha! but we're about to come up to our year anniversary in this place in Jan. fingers crossed we're still here then.

yes, @Former-Member was just blocking light that was escaping/see throu in cheap venetian that looks like last tenants dog used as a ladder lol. First night curtain in bedroom fell apart in 20 pieces lol. doors dont fit, some locks dont lock or dont have keys, handles fitted upside down and back to front, will fix it all for my peace of mind. yeah no tv lala land to block the world out so am a bit sensitised to surroundings also surprised how quiet and sort of private the caravan park was compared to this, but will all be fine
and thanks for asking/mentioning

I hope that this place works out well for you @TAB sounds as though you've been through a lot.
I've been luckier with the types of places we've stayed in mostly.

I think teaching is a very stressful job @Former-Member And having PTSD on top of it must make it very difficult for you. Then having your own children, as well, no wonder you are feeling exhausted. Gosh! I just read that you move nearly every 12 months, another huge stress. You really need a rest. Are you able to have a bit of a rest on the holidays, or are your children very demanding?
Do you have anything that helps you relax? Like a massage or something like that. Are you able to have a nap in the daytimes at all. I really think that if you can have a bit of a nap in the daytimes, that will help you cope a bit better. I try to nap when I feel that I'm really not coping.
I really enjoyed working with children when I finally decided to work part time. I worked full time for many years and didn't know that I had PTSD. I also had glandular fever etc. I wish I had known at the time, then I wouldn't have put so much pressure on myself. I knew something was wrong, but didn't know what. I haven't been able to work for many years now. I have been working on getting myself well, which isn't easy, haha!
Try to rest and nap as much as possible lisajane.
Yes, good on you for getting the sheets up. I do understand how difficult it is to do things like that @TAB
