Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

I know right @ArraDreaming I have heard of some places charging around $70 for santa photos. Some of these shopping centres rake in a fortune - maybe they should provide santa and photos for free ...that would bring families in as well as it would be a win-win.

Like @tyme said, your kids will remember you and Mrs jay5 bringing them joy in how much you love and care for them, they will not remember every present they received (especially the little ones). For the older kids - maybe collect up a whole lot of craft supplies that they could use ongoing. How about organising some pots and seeds for the kids to plant their own and take care of them - something else you are brilliant at and no doubt the kids would love doing 'the same as Dad".

That’s a great idea @Zoe7 they love helping me in the garden (except the 2yo is exceptionally lazy when it suits him)
“Can you help me can you pick up the toys before I mow” “no TANKS, I am too tired, i sit and watch ”
*runs around the house at full speed at any given time*

I'm sure that will remember what you have done, not what they didn't have @ArraDreaming

Good idea @Zoe7 - @ArraDreaming , why don't you be a Santa for kiddies? You can dress up and charge... say $50 as an amateur Santa? LOL

LOL @tyme

@ArraDreaming would be a wonderful santa.

Your 2 year old has it sussed @ArraDreaming lol - must get annoying though.

The other thing you may like to do is make pet rocks. Even the 2 year old could do that. They could then make little spaces for their pets. Paint them and grab some googly eyes to glue on - they are really cute.

@tyme hahahaha I would do it if it made them happy but I do feel like the fact that I’m 1. Not white 2. Not a fat old man,
might give it a way

Hey @ArraDreaming , we are trying to teach them inclusion from an early age. You don't' need to be 'white' or 'fat'. lol
