I’ve just been quiet here on just busy with the family and that.
Im ok I have had a tough week but I dunno why just been angry that all that

It’s always raining or someone is always sick when you finally don’t have to work and have some family time

Normally we go by the theory there is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing choice but considering we have all just had 2 viruses at the same time I’m not real keen on getting anyone sick

honestly…..
im more then usual angry at the moment but I think deep down I’m anxious about Christmas and affording everything for Christmas how we are going to logistically work out heading down to see family how am I going to fit in all the Christmas events not that I really have any personally but it’s just all piling up j has them the kids have them the school for some reason has an event on every single afternoon next week that I would actually like to go to because I want to be there for that kind of thing for him but I also have to work. then we are having visitors here somewhere in all of that and my sister isnt coping very well at the moment and as much as she’s a complete bitch to me 90% of the time she is still really struggling and Im worried about her at Christmas time and i think about all my little siblings at Christmas and i love spending time with my family and I love that even though I didn’t get fun christmas time growing up I can bring that joy to my kids but im feeling really overwhelmed
and so many things need doing around the house and im actually still really sick

Thank you for sharing. It sounds like you have been very reflective and been able to determine that the anger is stemming from anxiety and stress. Having this understanding is key to working with what’s happening.

We hear that you care so much about your family and you want what’s best. This really shows you have a big heart. Yet I also hear that the stressors of Christmas are real. What does Mrs J say?

@tyme we had some good conversations about the money stuff, she just reassures me that we will make it work but I also have a very different experience to hers about Christmas and I know what it’s like to wake up as a kid and have nothing under a non existent tree or my dad throwing the plastic Christmas tree in the garbage bin on Christmas Eve
so my biggest fear is that we will have nothing to give our kids and they are so excited even though she says it’s fine we will make it work in my head I can’t stop thinking about not giving my kids a nice Christmas and I make myself feel so bad over it
She is always so good to me when I’m feeling anxious

ideally we would Christmas here @tyme
but it’s not practical for everyone to travel to us and try to stay here even though I would prefer it

the kids like the farm @tyme and so does the dog

also it’s our anniversary coming up and we went to go out for the night or at least a nice lunch together but like we have to budget so hard for Christmas its just going to set us back
