Hello @Tired1
What a pleasant surprise...such a quick response..
I live in the hills so am not short of trees...animals...hills...birdlife...
it is all around even in the cities if we look hard enough..
That would have been so very hard to be separated from your two dogs at the same time as your marriage...
Pets are so important...I have two cats now....had to say goodbye to one whom I refer to as my soul cat two years ago now...15years old...very ill..I still feel sad when I think of him...
I have had dogs in the past...had to say goodbye to last dog also ...15yrs old....tumours...very hard as I have to hold them and stay with them for a while after...
Have you been on the forums very long?

hello to Saneforums
And hi to @Sophia1
I'm only logging in since January 30th
i'm glad you have a connection to nature @Sophia1
I'm not that close to nature but I try
i have a tip for those on Saneforums
take a slow and calm look at the blue sky
recognise and take in its beautiful blue colour
take in its beautiful blue colour
and say quietly to yourself
"Sending love to the blue sky, receiving love from the blue sky"
"Sending love to the blue sky, receiving love from the blue sky"
Or what about a plant with flowers like a rose bush
Look at the intricate and delicate beauty of the flowers or roses
Look at the intricate colour of the flowers and take in its beauty
and quietly say to yourself
"Sending love to the rose bush, receiving love from the rose bush"
"Sending love to the rose bush, receiving love from the rose bush"
Or what about a bird
Hear the birds beautiful singing and rejoice in it
Look at and take in the calm or tranquil manner of the bird
and quietly say to yourself
"Sending love to the bird, receiving love from the bird"
"Sending love to the bird, receiving love from the bird"
if you really mean it with a tranquil manner
you might have a moment of calm or peace
its still a work in progress for me but it helps a little bit which is better than nothing
thats my take on my slowly but surely increasing relationship with nature
i hope you've found my comments a little bit helpful
peace

Hello to 'saneforums'
Its my first time logging in since 16th of March
Because i didn't feel welcome here
And i felt excluded from the 'saneforums' community
But anyway
I experience all consuming and overwhelming depression, sadness, grief and loss
Its like i am surrounded by dark luminous clouds
And i'm waiting for a ray of sunlight to break through and into being surrounded by the dark clouds
I hope there's a seed of hope and joy in my heart sometime soon
I miss past friendships and relationships
I grief the abortions these ladies confided to me
Its like i feel like i am going to die
The all consuming and overwhelming grief and loss and being surrounded by dark clouds
I hold on in hope
Even moment by moment just to survive each day
Do some of you guys feel the same

Hello 'Saneforums'
I haven't logged-in in many many months
But i'm finally back and posting
I feel so isolated
I feel so lonely
I feel so sad
I feel so depressed
I made about 22 phone calls this evening to people i know this evening but not one person answered the phone
I can't understand why no-one answers the phone
I can't understand why no-one answers the phone
I feel like i have been excluded by the online community
I feel like i have been excluded by people i know
I care a lot
I have a lot of love, care, kindness, compassion and empathy for people who are suffering and in pain
But maybe other people don't feel the same
Maybe other people don't appreciate that i care so much
Sending all of you love and hugs
Sending all of you love and hugs

I hold onto love, beauty, peace, joy and hope
I hold onto love, beauty, peace, joy and hope
I hope you feel the same

Hoping for you love, beauty and peace

hello @Happyness
That was a very heartfelt post that you wrote.
Do you have an interest in music?.
Your words and the way you expressed yourself reminded me of lyrics of a song.
I also felt great intensity in your feelings and be proud that you are able to write about such feelings.
Please do not feel any pressure in needing to respond at any given time or after a certain period of time even.
The forums are about expressing ourselves, yes, release as well as offering support which you have clearly stated that you feel the same in writing when we are able to.
It is imperative that we look after ourselves as well as offer support for others which you clearly do.
It is not important how often we write or respond on here, more important that we feel safe when we need to do so and feel that we will not be judged.
You mentioned feeling isolated, lonely and sad. I am so sorry to hear that you experience those feelings.
I can say that I have felt that way many times over the years. I have been able to manage those feelings by spending some time doing what I love. I feel most connected with myself when I walk and observe all of nature around me.
I am very sensitive to my environment, which can at times also include the company around me.
I am at my best when I connect with nature, plants, water, wildlife, sky, clouds, ocean, river, pond, lake, rocks, hills. so much growing about us that brings me inner peace.
Have you found anything yourself that helps you feel calmer?
Sophia
