Exploring the Impact of Weather and Digestion on Mood.

Exploring the Impact of Weather and Digestion on Mood.

Hey everyone,

Lately, I've been diving into mindfulness practices, and it's opening my eyes to some issues I've been facing with my body. It's amazing how much my mood and overall vibe can be affected by something as simple as the weather. On those scorching hot days, it feels like my ability to function goes down to zero, and unless I'm in air conditioning, I can't seem to get anything done.

On top of that, the medications I'm taking have been causing some digestive issues, and it's surprising how much that impacts the course of my day. I realize these things might be pretty common knowledge in the medical world, but I'm only just becoming aware of how much they affect me personally.

Thankfully, I'm taking steps to address these needs and make adjustments to accommodate what my body requires. It's a learning process, but I'm trying to prioritize my well-being. Has anyone else experienced similar challenges or found effective ways to manage these kinds of issues? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues, and what are some tips for dealing with them?

I also suffer in the heat, and likewise from heavy medication.

As for the heat, I like to really break it down into days. I think the difference in energy bills for my place with and without air conditioning running 24/7 is about $1.50 a day. I just leave it on, and my brain functions normally, and it's piece of mind for me. It's like a $1.50 candy everyday, or equivalent, and then I am comfy womfy.

As for the heavy medication, what can I say but take vitamins. If you haven't been on them for very long, then you are probably unaware of the long-term side effects, which depending on your meds (which we can't talk about) can be pretty brutal, and the western medical model regarding viable options to help is pretty limited. I visited a student naturopath and they actually have answers when my GP had just shrugged.

As for digestion in general, I love making my own seed crackers and use it as a staple replacement for bread. I can make them for about $9/kg and my gut/bowels love me for it. Each body is different, so just look around, read some books, get some cookbooks, see what works for you.
