Hello @Mattt,
Thank you for sharing your story it sounds like you are dealing with a lot of physical and mental pain at the moment and facing some financial issues as you have been getting support to help deal with these problems. I'm sorry to hear you aren't coping too well at the moment, you seem to be really trying and might just need some extra help to start feeling a bit better.
There are some low cost options including community support programs that you might want to look into, this might help with some more social options if you are feeling lonely and isolated, such as:

Re: Down and out
Hello @Mattt
It is a tough road to hoe when we have serious back issues that young in life. I have struggled a lot with suicidality and the consequences .. like you, I decided not to take that option. The levels of pain may make the idea of escape a frequent desire, but there is always hope. I have managed to reduce pain .. it was my mantra for about 15 years .. I found wholistic & physical therapies the best and check in to get updates on best approaches. My GP warned me off surgery and I was did not want to be on pain-killers & anti-infammatories for life. Though your situation is uniquely yours, medicine is improving.. I hope your family is supportive.
Perservere with Centrelink .. even though I know there are a lot of pros and cons ... it is our legal entity in this country and you ought to be entitled to be treated with respect and with suitable responsivenes for your abilities and disabilties.
Find a place at the your centre of yourself that can ground you and help guide you to get some basics established through this stage of your life.
Take care

I feel for you @Mattt
I wake up terrorfied every morning as soon as i open my eyes
But the worst is over as soon as i pull up the blind and let the sunlight into the room
Maybe rejoice each morning for the sunlight for what it is

Last saturday night
I thought i was shot and stabbed
But i didnt feel any pain and i felt peaceful
And i decided to take a gamble and trust in 'Lord Jesus The Messiah'
My life has been dangerous and i just want to feel love and peace
And i just want a normal life
I meditate on love and peace and mercy
