Re: Tabaluga's@

Good to "see" you @TAB

A quiet day. Slept in, needed the quiet mental dreamy time. I usually have a big headache, like a bear with a sore head. Son is good - up and active.

Take Naps as needed. Tab

Re: Tabaluga's@

I always have a headache @TAB

It is probably related to too much trying, my neck, and then maybe self harm from 30 years ago. My osteo does cranioscaral therapy and slowly over time it has helped, but its always there. Singing hepes cos I fill my skull with sound and vibrations apparently do help ... people dont know what to make of me when I say singing is a pain management tool, but it is ...

Re: Tabaluga's@

sorry @Appleblossom , yes that rings a bell now from reading you post that in the past. Pain is not good. I'm trying to find out whats causing my latest set of aches, well for the last few months so far none the wiser had scans blood tests now xrays getting referal to specialist

Re: Tabaluga's@

No worries @TAB

Dont want to think about it too much, but just realised that my long sleep-ins are restorative re head pain and my whirling thoughts eventually settle.

I hope you get clarity and a cure from seeing your specialist. Good that you are taking action.

Hope its not serious but understanding somehow makes sense of your experience. If you know what it is it can be easier to manage ... oooh that niggle ...

Re: Tabaluga's@

yes and no longer have access to pain meds well except what I can get from deli etc @Appleblossom I said to dr what difference does it make if theyre addictive if have to take all day every day like ones I buy myself and 90 % of time they dont do anything

foot and elbows bugging me. foot is historical but getting a lot worse.

elbows is as of 9mths ago think was from heavy work and no rest, just it wont go away now, work or not ?? they did scans on elbows after another dr said it was gout and told me to take otc supermarket pain pills which I live on anyway lol

Re: Tabaluga's@

@TAB You have been in heavy lifting jobs for so long, it has probably taken quite a toll on you. Have you looked at physical approaches like osteo for your foot. You can get 5 sessions with some medibank cover.

I only just realised that gout is a form of arthritis.

Maybe approach it from anti- inflammatories in diet. Gentle, not tough man exercise. Gps often cant do much, but proper treatment can make a difference over time.

I decided my head ache was too bad to go out. Usually I just push myself.

Re: Tabaluga's@

It might be @TAB

That is why I decided against pill popping 30 years ago. If I had been too casual about it, I would be totally wrecked now.

Get some music in ya life mate.
