Well I got sent to an interview 3wks ago now @Faith-and-Hope . So I had things described to me. I expressed reservations. They were encouraging. I couldn't start then due to ribs. I rang them back Thursday in a bit of a state and said I could still do it. Stressing out yest and worst sleep probably body telling me don't do it. Think reality finally hit and 2am. Yes, I'd say it's gone. Probably 12years ago I did a sideways step to site work and it seemed a lot better fit. I'm going to have to find something soon. Was trying to put a square peg in a round hole and telling self it was possible til it came to the crunch. Can't say I feel really bad about it well after letting them know not going in. And yes, been in this situation before. Probably just wishing I hadn't rung them back now. Just makes me look silly. Oh well. Something more suitable will turn up

I had a friend who used to swap between nannying and clerical as a temp to be able to travel and work ... when she got sick of looking after other people's kids - usually with parent abandonment issues - she would switch to an office job .... the. When she got sick of office politics she would switch back to nannying .... got to travel in the UK and the States doing that, and loved it.

Yes will have to put thinking cap on at some stage @Faith-and-Hope Told self a few ideas recently. All a bit blank at the moment. Yes variety might work. Not feeling that employable at the moment. Perhaps a bigger change is the missing piece of the puzzle. Thanks for your thoughts and sorry you got dragged into this by way of wishing me well for the job. That didn't happen. Trying not to think about it at the moment, can lead to more self doubt. But will have to sort something soon re work. Sitting around waiting for something Im ok with doesn't seem to be working lol re last employer who claimed were over the moon with me then just no more work forthcoming

Just got my thinking cap on for you too .... if you've got a bit of a menu of casual wok options available, it can add up to a fair bit and gives you flexibility .....

yes that had crossed my mind in the past @Faith-and-Hope trying not to think about it atm tho, it's been a funny last couple of weeks for me mentally and I guess that lead me to think I was going to try this job
Think I just want to run away or sleep for a few days, well the former isnt really an option as have house der lol Anyway thanks for your thoughts, dont think I up going to come up with anything earth shattering over next few days, but will be giving things some thought when I can get my head around it. Its just something to pay bills I guess and not too horrible, not even going there re uni degree, but if I had to get trade school books out last couple days to see how much and how well I had forgotten some things I rarely did even 20 years ago, re this last job I cried off ..well ..
