Hey @StuF wasp came back today. I sprayed it and the area it likes to go outside my kitchen window. Dont think this double strength vinegar dripping & drying on the wall is strong enough. Have to go out there daily and spray in the mid morning before it comes back. Its a good idea but not a strong enough deterrant. I'm just hoping it stops coming back

Is this wasp really such a big problem? We get them all the time. As long as they don't nest in your house. I mean, they don't tend to live in bee-like swarms in my experience...

Anyway, I hope you can keep it away if that is what you want

@StuF getting banging noises at night across the solar panels. Have reset my inverter again. I had someone from the company that installed it come out and check it a while back and they said there was nothing wrong with it. He hopped on the roof and in the roof cavity and checked the inverter and meterbox. I know how to reset the inverter but theres something wrong with the system. What do you do if someone says theres nothing wrong with it and you even get another electrician to check it and they say the same thing?

That definitely Does suck. We're at the mercy of tradies when we don't know how stuff works. If I get a problem with my car I have to trust the mechanic...

Have you had that second opinion? I have no great suggestions for you :(

@StuF The problem is if they bring more back, like a swarm. Thats what I'm worried about. Allready had one in the kitchen last week that possibly got in through same crevice which is why I'm being proactive. But nearly every day its come back around mid morning so I dont want to attract more and it costs several hundred to exterminate them. It may or may not be a rogue wasp idk but you know the problem I've had with bees and wasps in the past
