@StuF I dont know if its gone for good. Will go out there with my trusty spray tomorrow morning lol Usually if I have wasps they settle in very quickly so may be acting as a deterrant who knows? I'm just glad I dont need to call an exterminator and shell out hundreds of dollars. We'll see tomorrow huh? lol

Gotta manage expectations, in new culture. Sounds like a bit of surfing required. If overall, they are clear, fair-minded and decent, you should be fine.

@Taali I guess we all find a way to navigate the forum. Sometimes lots of tagging spreads the vibe, but it can be a bit impersonal if it is overused. Some don't like endless notifications. If you get likes and positive responses, that is positive feedback. The forum has evolved over the years and there's no single right way to use it. It can depend on the purpose of the post. If it is about expressing personal angst, or having personal conversations, sometimes less tagging is more. There are ways to invite response even if people are not tagged. You often have interesting stuff, but I gloss over some.

There is also the idea of respecting the purpose of a thread. If someone is sharing an individual story and is going through vulnerable times, it can be good to be sensitive to their issues. You know how to start your own discussion

our dear old friend @Shaz51 did lovely mass tagging for coffee or Friday nights or Sunday soirees. The mass tagging can be very inclusive, it just all depends. Also if the purpose is open and general and social. There's no one size fits all.
