I live in Whadjuk Noongar Country, or the Swan region in Perth.

We have a beautiful Aboriginal owned and operated gallery called Maalinup in the valley and they sell not only art but bush tucker and giftware. I have been there several times. I wanted to buy some art but it was too rich for my blood lol! (ie too expensive)

I have been to Adelaide and love it but never ventured further than Hahndorf, Victor Harbour and Gumeracha. My then boyfriends' family had a winery in Gumeracha. One of my mums' friends told me I needed to marry him because of the winery. We split up and I told the friend that there was no chemistry, to which she replied (as a long time married lady) "bugger the chemistry, it fades after 20 years. A winery won't!"

What you're experiencing is probably grief that is exacerbated by mental illness and vice versa.

I cook because I've been physically unwell due to a psychiatric med that caused major iatrogenic damage so my health has been poor most of my life because of it. To be honest it almost killed me. Its was from that same psychiatrist in that notorious psych unit I mentioned. So have built my health back slowly over the years. I'm grateful for any health I have.

Just did some new Qigong moves this afternoon from Spring Forest Qigong. I usually wake up in the morning and do something called The Eden Energy Method Morning Routine so it keeps me in a good frame of mind even if I get out of the wrong side of the bed.

Will do my Taoist Six Healing Sounds tonight.

Well I'd like to tell you the name l have for that psychiatrist but I'm afraid that I'll be banned from SANE for eternity!!!!

@Taali He was a pretty bad shrink. Unfortunately I was involuntary so no informed consent and I wound up at a public clinic that continued with the injection. I think i must have spent 8 years sleeping my life away until I had access to the internet to try and cure myself of the damage the medicine did. Noticed people in a similar position to me living lives of sheer exhaustion and being largely immobile. Dont know if they wound up like I did after I left rehab but may have well been the same trajectory for them going by what they said when I knew them. @Historylover has permanent akasthesia because of the same med I was on. She no longer takes it but thats what she was left with.

Yes I'm still not well but just make do @Taali. Thankyou for your kind words its deeply appreciated. It would be beaut if that pendant fixed your neck pain. The previous vendors wife who left the business years ago treated her pain with it. She was a healer herself 🩷
