Re: Tabaluga's

@Appleblossom I thought all GP's bulk billed acupuncture if you had a healthcare card. Just about every clinic where I am (and I'm semi regional area) has one or more GP's that do acupuncture at their clinics. I'm immensely grateful. Its not a thorough assessment like they do at TCM clinics - no pulse, or tongue diagnostics or randomised treatments. With GP's you just present with a problem and they stick the needles in the same acupuncture points along your body and you are there for a shorter length of time. I've lost faith in doctors too I try to look after myself and work alongside doctors though. Have received malpractice. Read in the news 50% of GP's are using AI now in patient assessments. AI will take over medicine and its allready happening

Ha ha @TAB I learned about Gibson Les Paul in th 70s before I even got to university! I often learned things in the wrong order!

Good to see you being adaptable about belief and style, in a caring way.

i was brought up 'well' at least by my mother @Appleblossom I have no interest in organised religion, but , well in certain situations at least i like to think I have a moral compass that leans to the Left.

Re: Tabaluga's

@SmilingGecko is there any scientific evidence for chakras and other eastern methods such as crystal healing and earth grounding?

Please don't take this as a criticism, I just haven't been able to find any evidence of efficacy but the internet can be very selective and I am interested to see if moon phases, astrological signs etc can be helpful.

Thanks for your patience and understanding 💜🙏

Re: Tabaluga's

Really @SmilingGecko I only had a couple conversations where Gps were decent about alternative therapies. Often they were dismissive. Maybe things have changed. I might ask.

@Taali I pay $80 gap fee for my psychiatrist. I am very careful financially to manage ... essentials. Which it is. Yeserday, he earned his money, and was decent and heartfelt. I have invested in him for nearly 10 years. As I once was the taxman, I feel some capcity to observe the flow of money, mine and the public purse.

I have a long list of anecdotes... about lots of the health professions ... also having to manage them and habituation to high status ... socially ... weary sigh! I am no longer impressed when someone drops that someone in their family is a doctor. They get financial and social kudos, but sometimes dont do their job. Hmmm.

My father died after presenting to the ED for pneumonia, and he got jeered at to man up for his kids, but died that night. It did not show up on his coroners report, so nobody got their bottom spanked. I was only 11 watching that, in silence. Maybe thats why Apple has to speak up, now.
