i so know what you mean, i can handle a lot but the sound of a dentist drill triggers trauma memories when the (FREE) school dentist came around in their dentist van. They filled holes in our teeth, but never used anything to numb the pain.

Speaking about it i can remember sitting in the class room freaking my turn hearing kids scream their agony. i never screamed, for the big boys would target me then, but many others not pestered by those bullies certainly did. Everybody dreaded the dentist in those days.

Tooth aches can be huge issue over the weekend or dentists booked out two weeks in advance.

I got an extra hours sleep and I've got a physio/acupuncturist appointment today so REALLY looking forward to that. I should be pain free for a while.
