My top front teeth were removed last year, 2 on the bottom at the front broke and I am missing a few at the back. I spent too many years working in a mineral lab, breathing in chemicals that stripped the enamel from my teeth, plus I have always had a high plaque build up and then developed dry mouth thanks to the bipolar meds so my fangs were doomed from the start. Best thing the old man ever did for me was die and leave me a decent inheritance!

okay you win gummy stakes. my 2 front teeth now crowns courtesy of me falling on face when couldnt breathe. as said ages ago , paid full price .only found cheap dental afterwards. yeah me throat is terrible re dry mouth am mouth breather mostly cos sinuses

appt made so long ago struggling to remember what for ok the mystery cough that still comes and goes re dry throat mostly.Gp boiled it down to hayfever . i called BS

..ergo I get specialist appt ..(accept no substitute) as fresh MD (not GP) sed they know more, can prescribe dift stuf etc

I have no dental stories to share with you today. Basically because I don't go unless I absolutely have to

Yeah I'm terrified of anything to do with my mouth

I actually have to take a couple of sedatives, prescribed by the dentist, before I can go.

I have to have the 1st appointment of the day so I don't have a chance to back out of it.

Anyway I'm going in a couple of weeks 🤪 and I'll try not to chicken out this time 🙃

Hey I was just told by an automated response that I couldn't use the name of the sedative I was prescribed. But I have used the names of alcohol and other drugs in the past

What does it mean?

Talk about your experiences generally without going into specifics that might upset others, such as self-harm and suicide methods, detailed circumstances surrounding a death, traumatic or abusive episodes, eating disorder behaviours, medication names and dosages.
