In my (maybe not very popular) opinion @ArraDreaming, school is not exactly a good measure of one's intelligence or capacity for clever thinking. School is all about rote learning - aka learn this fact then remember it in an exam. I subscribe to the idea that humans have flourished in our evolutionary journey precisely because we don't all think the same way. So maybe you struggled to remember a bunch of facts and sums and who was prime minister in 1925, and didn't do well in school.
But there's sooo many different types of mind, and different types of intelligence. You have already demonstrated emotional intelligence, which is not as common as you'd think! (I reckon there's a LOT of emotionally intelligent people here on the forums... in the rest of society, not so much lol). And like @Birdofparadise8 mentioned, you have a wife and kids - which means you got good instincts, as well as empathy, compassion, and patience - all super valuable attributes.
I mean I think about that awesome lego game you described playing with your kids - that requires no small amount of creativity and ingenuity. You might suck at algebra or whatever, but you still have so much of value that you bring to the world.
Okay rant over lol
