Absurdist drama

Absurdist drama

isn't it?...

No matter how resolute and recalibrated, it seems all too soon when I arrive once more at just how ludicrous it all is...

Even at my most irreverent and non chalent version of self, I still can't float along for more than a week without sinking into pessimism.

Does this kind of morbidity ever go away - for good? ...

Tonight is one of those hideous ones again. Where I don't want to...but kinda think I only need to make it til morning...

Re: Absurdist drama

Hey there, @Kyle1. So sorry to read that you are having trouble staying afloat. Have you learned anything about what triggers, aids etc. mood downswings and roundabouts? For instance, I've learned that buying treats can lift moods but that it is only short lived and only enriches others. Having goals to work towards can lift us if we keep working towards them and can also provide necessary self-discipline which is a good life lesson. Weren't you going to work towards a holiday with your children? You have to have goals of one sort or another, @Kyle1. To read a particular book, to learn a new skill, to improve your health...anything, as long as your life has purpose and direction. What is your purpose, @Kyle1, and it can't be all children-centred.

I hope there is something good in your day today. I can only send best wishes. I haven't kept up with posts of late, so did you find somewhere else to live?

Re: Absurdist drama

I have indeed been working on goals @Historylover .

And we'd like to holiday in St petersberg. And Dresden.

I'm at botanical Gardens today. Among the lipstick coloured fuschias atm. A bird has done the rounds, trumpeting upwards to siphon nectar, and whoosh! gone again

So how are you feeling today, @Kyle1? Is the holiday a dream or a plan? Sounds wonderful.

Re: Absurdist drama

@Kyle1 hello, lovely ❤️ Sorry to hear you're not coasting along very well right now. I don't know what to say. I do hope your mood will pick up soon. You've got a great little holiday to look forward to so that is something maybe. And today you find yourself in a Botanic Park which is beautiful. Nature always does it for me. I can't always get out into nature but will put a himalayan salt lamp on to bathe my house in negative ions for the uplifting effect. I will remember to hold you in prayer, love. Hopefully you will feel better by later on today. I know you always try your best.
