Trigger Warning - Self Harm

Trigger Warning - Self Harm

trigger warning - self-harm

This is really hard to type - I had gone for basically 2 weeks without any urges of self-harm. Today was particularly hard at work and as a result the thought was there tonight. I am safe and not actively self-harming.

Can anyone tell me whether the thoughts decrease as you get further through treatment and preferably disappear forever. I am really disappointed that the thought was there tonight.

Hi @Karrie , yes, I can tell you that the SH thoughts decrease and I haven't had any SH thoughts for about 15 years now. Not for hurting my skin anyway.
