How do I keep going on

How do I keep going on

This isnt some cry for people to help etc. My Dad has been helping by way of loans but how much money I keep borrowing to keep getting treatment for all my shit.

Over the past 10 days its cost me $1200 out of pocket for my medical costs plus another $450 for my Health Insurance. I get like $3300 a month and almost half of that has already gone to medical costs. I have more scans, procedures, doctors etc this coming week, which Dad will end up paying for.

How do I start making the decisions as to what I treat and what I dont. Im supposed to have an echo on Monday, that I gotta do. I have injections into my spine on Tuesday, again gotta do. Wednesday, I have an MRI on my shoulder, I have calcific tendonitis and they need to work out if I need surgery, again kinda need to do. Thurday I have the dentist, its to continue a root canal so gotta keep going with that. Then there are a few appointments. Ive started meds to help me stop smoking as Im not winning on my own.

I dont know what to do, what I dont do.

Hello @ClockFace I have silently been following your posts for awhile and felt there was nothing I could do. I sensed your pain and the fact everyone expected things from you while nobody took your needs seriously. I'm sorry that you have not been prioritised.

I wanted to empower you financially. Have you thought of seeking crowd funding for your medical bills from "Go Fund Me" which is an online crowdfunding website? You can get funding from all over the world to pay for things like your medical bills. You put up an ad explaining why you need money with a backstory of your health costs and people will donate. You don't need to repay the money, its free donations.

I have had many online friends successfully receive money for things like surgery, veterinary bills, cancer treatments and paying for rising expenses and all were successful. I want to encourage you. I know you are not coping. When you are in a better headspace please sit down and consider this option. It will take the financial pressure off you so you have some breathing space.

Maybe in future you could have proper family therapy from a skilled clinician in family therapy specifically. Families have dynamics and in nearly all instances they are not healthy. A family therapist (not an individual therapist) knows how to get a family functioning better. Your family needs some kind of intervention as you are all unhappy, having a family therapy can unravel the unhealthy dynamics and get your family relating in better ways.

But for now please look into Go Fund Me. I feel you deserve a break. Have a look around the site and see other peoples ads. There are so many cases of people successfully raising money for their own cause and you can too! 🙂
