Re: Thanks Australia (not)

Hey All,

I just wanted to stop by and express my disappointment in this outcome. Thinking of all those affected and impacted by this. I know that it's not necessarily how it might feel right now, but please know, you do matter and your voice is valuable. I will continue to stand by and with you all. Also please remember to take care of you and reach out for support if needed- there is 13YARN, as some have mentioned and WellMob as well as these self care resources as a few Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander specific options for care & support to start with in case that's useful for anyone.

Sending as much courage and strength as may be needed to get through.

TideisTurning ❤️💛🖤

Hello @ArraDreaming

I honestly am feeling for you, I mean that.

I've come across someone you might like to talk with, not sure how to figure the link etc, because of the rules here.

I have his name on facebook.

Please let me know if you would like to contact him. No, I do not know him, I have only spoken to him briefly on fb.

Maybe the mods can help us here, I don't know.

Please take care, and I do hope things are sorting with Centrelink.

Hi @BlueBells - due to our Anonymity Guideline, we cannot allow anyone to share personal information, including that of your friend on Facebook. It's kind of you to want to show support though.

@ArraDreaming and @Jynx

Hi, yes, I am aware of that, Jynx.

Jay, I was speaking with someone that I think would be good for you to contact.

Jynx, is there a way I can contact you privately, and if you could be the go-between for Jay and I ?

I feel deeply for the hurt Jay is feeling, and I honestly believe this fellow would be good for him to talk with.

I do not wish to break any guidelines, as I know they are there for anonymity and safety of all members.

It's a bit of an unusual situation, and would have to see what @ArraDreaming thinks. Might also ask our Community Manager, @tyme for input before giving the go ahead for something like this.

@Jynx and @jay

I understand, I am well aware, but this is also an unusual situation.

I accidently came across this fellow, maybe I was meant to to help Jay.

I will keep an eye on my email notifications.

Re: Thanks Australia (not)

Hi @ArraDreaming

I believe I came across someone who would be good for you to talk with about all of this stuff that's going/gone on. He is Aboriginal, also.

However, with the protective rules of SANE, and any sites like this, I cannot give you his name nor contact information.

If the moderators agree to help, then this can be done privately, from me to them, and then from them to you.

This way, it gets the info through, but absolutely no contact between us privately, so our anonymity is fully protected.

Does that make sense?
