Yes - I have recently completed a survey that will hopefully help improve the Sane forums. I can't remember which university it was that asked me to do the survey, but I did it because I thought it would help improve user experience of the forums, not just for me, but for all users of the forums.

Housework for me as well: I will do the recycling and then then the vacuuming.

I have seen that book and wondered what it's like. I've read mixed reviews! Are you so far enjoying it?

I'm working until six and then probably just chilling out in front of the TV. I need to start planning some things for a trip next year to Japan. I keep putting it off though! I need to get passports first off.

I'll also be trying to avoid the news with the horror of the escalation of conflict in Israel-Palestine. I've seen and read too much already.

Think I'll put some light and fluffy tv on instead.

I love the book so far. It has so much information about the history of mental illness and madness. It is very heavy-going with history, talking about mental illness within the context of Shakespeare for example.

I am writing a novel where one of my main characters has autism and schizophrenia. This book has been so helpful in giving me information about the institutionalization and mental asylums.

Your trip to Japan sounds so exciting! As as a person who has never been overseas, do you need to save up a lot of money to travel? Is travel expensive?

That sounds really interesting @PositivePossum6 . And extra good that it's been a help for your research for your book. Super exciting that you're writing a book.

Unfortunately, yes going overseas will add up. Perhaps the most expensive part is the airfares. They have come down a bit lately but still quite expensive. Japan is cheap for food so that's not a problem and also touristy things are mostly free like the temples and stuff like that.

Do you think you'd like to travel overseas one day?
