I’m very fearful about the impact of this referendum vote

I think the whole problem is that it has been very rushed, and the facts have not been made clear to anyone, and no one, yes or no, really knows what is going on.

I'm more fearful of what they are up to behind the scenes. That's all.

That last post, mods ripped it apart, and it looks like yes bashing. Truly, it is not.

I think a lot of it is perspective, we make our judgements from what we see, hear and understand. Naturally, everyone sees things differently. I don't know what area you are from. Take a line through Vic , I'm in the western side.

For me, from now, the referendum is a closed subject.

I do certainly hope you get a good response soon from Centrelink.

If you want to ask me anything, it's fine, but I'd prefer nothing about the referendum.

i know we are all subject to our own opinion sorry if you felt shut down but Im really struggling with this topic and I wasnt looking for a yes vs no debate when I made this I was really wanting a space to share how I felt and be supported because there is not a lot of safe spaces online right now

I know what you mean, so many are getting very 'personal' in their attacks, I mean, rude and abusive towards each other, and also very off topic.

I haven't felt 'shut down', but with the alterations, I felt the wrong meaning came across, and I do not want that happening.

I do understand how you are feeling. I'm troubled, you are troubled. It's such a mess.

To me, people are people, and yes or no, we are all 'people'.

I responded because I wanted you to know that many people are very troubled by this. I have white and Aboriginal family. In that way, this does feel incredibly personal. I don't want it to tear my family apart, yes or no.

I've been losing sleep over it.

I think there are a lot of us out there, some sure, some unsure, but all very troubled and fearful.

Please take care of yourself and your family. Especially yourself, as you have a family to care for also.

If I was there, I'd give you a big hug. (I tend to be a very huggy person.) I do feel for you.

That doesn't sound like 'not much' that sounds like heaps of fun. Do you make all your own stuff with lego or go by the books? I have an orchid lego set I still haven't put together, but I did a bonsai tree recently it was heaps of fun. Also have a lego Tallneck (from the game Horizon Zero Dawn, one of my all time favs).
