I think I might be dying
i was just googling what Happens if you have swollen lymph nodes and it said cancer.
I have one of them it’s really sore it has been for about a 3 days
can I maybe have cancer

Hey @ArraDreaming I can really hear your concern about this! I'm sorry, it is so frightening to have things like that happening with your body. I have had similar moments myself, realising something isn't right and then spiralling about all the things it could be.
Sometimes (for me at least), googling medical symptoms isn't the best idea because it basically highlights every possible thing that could be wrong, and more often than not it isn't actually that serious. I have had a few nights of panic and terror that were all for nought because it turned out to be not that serious.
If you are super concerned, you could definitely get it checked out at the ED. They can run tests pretty quickly and help you figure out if it is truly an urgent medical issue.
Otherwise you can see your GP as soon as you can (or find a walk-in bulk-bill practice if there's one nearby) and go from there.
So you do have a few options, what do you think will be the best first step to take?

Gogle sai that if you have other symptoms that it is likely you have cancer I have been sick in and off for weeks I can’t have this wrong with me because I also have to get eye surgery next month @Jynx

@ArraDreaming yeah it is really tough how expensive medical care can be. Well I think outside of time and energy spent, a visit to ED is free - could be a way to alleviate you worries if nothing is truly wrong, or uncover anything that might need attention. It is very tough Jay, I totally feel you.
There's also the option of Nurse on Call - the number varies by state but you could just google it. They might be able to advise you further. I think sometimes being sick means the lymph glands in the neck can swell, part of the immune system fighting off the sickness. But I'm not a doctor so I can't say for sure.
