our kid had his first intro day at a sport and we thought he would be nervous and struggle a bit to join so we were kind of a bit ehhhh about the whole thing but actually he was so good, found his age group and started talking to other kids straight away. Proud moment.
Nice day to soak up the sun (with my sunglasses on of course)
i did get sand in my eye though, in the couple of minutes i had them off and that’s cause a lot of pain, going to see if I can get an appointment tomorrow it looks really bad and inflammed

What a proud moment @ArraDreaming ! That is so good that he mingled with the others. I can see why you feel like this weekend has been a success.
Ouch about your eye. It was healing so well. Fingers crossed that it doesn't delay the healing.

If you don't feel confident behind the wheel and if there's inflammation, it's probably not the best idea to drive @ArraDreaming Safety first. Your family needs you. Your son needs you to see him at this first game!!!

yeah I’m not far off bed and then will reasses in the morning and maybe see if I can get a lift to work instead.
Yeah this was Nippers, wanted to play cricket but changed his mind. Glad we landed on nippers, Sunday mornings on the beach as a family can’t be too bad @tyme

That's so special. Isn't nippers like running, swimming and something else at the beach?? @ArraDreaming
I remember friends being part of Nippers when I was a kid. I was never interested though. I was in squads for swimming. I hated it.

Yeah pretty much a pre surf-lifesaving program, surf awareness, swimming and things, the lower primary school age is a lot of sand based activities and shallow water and then as they get older they do more swimming, paddle boards and things, so good to watch all the kids out there today.
