Narcissistic Abuse - How’s your amygdala?

Narcissistic Abuse - How’s your amygdala?

@tyme @Shaz51 Is it just me that finds it difficult being around friends or family, who:
1. Think they know all about trauma, know nothing and give advice.
2. Don’t want to deal with their own trauma

Hey @Glisten ,

I'm in with you on that one. For some people, if they don't know, maybe their lips should be sealed tight?

Now, the title of your post really captured me. When I was in my heightened BPD state, I used to call myself a "Walking amygdala" - LOL. In other words, my reasoning brain was out the window.

What's been happening for you?

@tyme Walking Amygdala 😂 - brilliant!

When you lose everything, including yourself. Rebuilding yourself through trauma therapy takes huge effort.
There are no spoons left for people’s self opinionated BS.

Saying someone has “been a victim long enough” is horrible and heartless.

The tough-love attitude could drive a person to self harm.

I’m trapped in 1994 and I can’t wait to get back home to Perth.

@tyme

I watched The Super Mario Bros movie.
I feel like I was in a relationship with Bowser. My personality alternates between Lumina and Princess Peach.
