God, how do I get help if the only help there is involves treating me like a naughty kid?

This last week has been absolute hell. Definitely the worst time of my life. And I have no one to talk to!

Can't call Lifeline as they they're behaving very strangely and have accused me of doing something I cannot possibly have done, not to mention they are one of the causes for my stress right now (see more here if interested https://saneforums.org/t5/Something-s-not-right/Help-I-got-a-call-from-the-hospital-saying-Lifeline-called-them/m-p/1323305#M309204).

I won't call Sane or BeyondBlue or Mensline or any of the rest because of this issue either. I don't trust them anymore, especially recently when I called Sane and the operator addressed me by my real name despite me always saying I wanted to remain anonymous each time I called.

I am seeing a trauma psychologist but that's only for 50mins once a week - no real help.

Can't go to hospital because they simply don't have capacity/room for me. I went recently on the order of my GP and waited about 7 hours in emergency triage only to be told, in a corridor (no consultation rooms available) that they could not help me and to seek a private therapist.

There's just no where to go and no one to talk to!

I'm sorry to hear how low you're feeling and that you feel no one can help right now. Do you find it helpful sharing on the forums? I hope so. I hope you find some comfort here. It seems like it's all you have right now.

@Jlol Gosh, that sounds incredibly stressful. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Do you have any personal or social support?

What is personal/social support?

I'm a man. We're not allowed to talk to anyway. As much as we'd like to pretend the we're all progressive, as a man you cannot talk to anyone other than paid professionals.
