Help. Living with a PTSD partner

My husband of 30 years who I am totally committed to has PTSD. Sometimes he just flies into a rage in response to something I said which was not intended as anything other than an opinion and he takes it as an attack on him. He is going to a psychologist and takes depression meds. Don't know what else to do

I am struggling. I want to be my own person with opinions but sometimes he just changes personality in an instant and over reacts and i am afraid for his safety and my sanity.

So sorry to read of your current difficulties, @Ceewee. Life is difficult in those circumstances. I have no advice...but perhaps you could take up an activity that gives you some reprieve, or perhaps your husband could join a men's group? My advice may not be helpful, but it is all I can suggest. I can only send you best wishes. I hope things improve soon.
