Re: How do I make friends

I'm sorry @ArraDreaming .

I think I'm suggesting joining a team or teams.

Like a sport teams but also all the other teams out there.

But that's something a lot of people say.

So, I wanted to make it sound more interesting.

But, it came out less interesting and more weird.

Sorry.

The other thing is, when I suggest team joining, the next question is "What about finding the time?"

So I wanted to be suggesting joining something that also helps meet the goals and needs in your life and what you want.

Some people join teams for something to do. Which is fine if that's all you're looking for.

It's more healing and makes more sense when it's a team that you want to join.

The other other thing, about friends and allies.

Yeah, that's a deep rabbit-hole of a conversation.

If someone is one but not the other, is that ok? Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't.

It's kind of important but I can see that I'm straying off the topic.

Sorry again.

Re: How do I make friends

The time factor with a young family makes it tough. All my friends with young kids have difficulty finding time to hang out. Both accepting that your life has a new responsibility and focus, as well as prioritising SOME time for both you and your partner to have some "me time" is important. Looking after young ones is a 24/7 job but you can take turns having a break. Everyone needs a break sometimes. Communicating well and supporting each other is key. Some of the "me time" can be used to catching up with mates.
