Depression has siezed me

Depression has siezed me

Depression has reach out and siezed me, taken me captive. I have been stripped of my freedoms, stripped naked exposed to al left bound and gagged completely vunerable. Its like a storm with rain and hail is pounding me from above, building up above me causing a great deal weight to build up and weigh upon me, from below the hands of the dead are reaching up from beneath me, taking hold of me and pulling me down. In front of me I face the collective force of 300 spartans holding the pass. Those around me see all this happening, but when they look upon my face they see a photoshop image of my face with tears running down my face and a smile. All they see is the smile, they miss the missery in my eyes, the tears flowing freely, the hands reach up taking hold of my limbs, grasping at my flesh and trying to unite me with the earth below. The weight of countless hours of rain and hail accumulating above me, resting on my body with equal force, relentlessly weighing me down, making it impossible to rise up. 300 Spartans stand before me, everytime I take a step forward they push back preventing my every advancement.

Re: Depression has siezed me

Even though you write of such pain and trauma, it is so poetical and powerful in its imagery.

What do you wish that the Spartans would do?
