Procedure Update

Procedure Update

Well Im feeling really down. I woke up early morning in quite a bit of pain. I took breakthro pain meds and eventually went back to bed. Woke up again really in pain, stiff as. Ive gone from so little pain back to being in a heap. I dont know what this means. It can take 6 weeks to actually work but it seemed it had.

My sister went to her doc yesterday, her car was dropped off at home but we had no idea what was going on where she was. She wouldnt respond to msgs. I rang the clinic and all they said was she was safe. We found out she is in the local hospital but that was it. I got a message this morning asking me to come into the hospital in the city she needed some stuff. Due to the above I said no. She asked if Dad could go and he is stuffed, he didnt sleep due to my sister and neither has my Mum. So Dads not going. My sister has winged to my Mum, said she feels loved. Im so done. Even if I wasnt in a bunch of pain I dont think I would go. This is so common, and throwing out things like how it makes her feel loved. How about me, how do I feel. I need some shit, bring it down, I dont care about your pain, I dont care that I havent told you shit about what going on, I dont care that you have been freaking out all night, the only person that matters and needs to feel loved is my sister. Im so done, like she is on her own done

Re: Procedure Update

Rest up @ClockFace .

I hear that even after your procedure, you are still thinking of your sister etc. I hope you find some space to be kind to yourself. I acknowledge it can be so hard right now with everything happening.

Re: Procedure Update

Hi @ClockFace

Your sister comes across like a spoilt brat and I know you have had a painful procedure - this will take time to improve - if it is like something I have had done to my spine - you will be having post-operative pain - hopefully it will ease up soon - you need to rest though

It seems your whole family is battling with various health issues - and your sister seems to be a diva - I think she can manage with whatever she has in hospital while you and your parents cope with your own health issues - I feel strongly about that.

I read just about everything your write though I can't always answer - put yourself first and let yourself recover - I was in hospital recently and all I had was my phone and charger and luckily a comb. I bought some stuff from the pharmacy. Your sister can manage.

It's really rough on your Dad and you though - really tough,

Thinking of you
